INDIA'S OLYMPIC: SHAME ONCE AGAIN-



   India has the worlds second largest population and yet it placed 55th out of the 79 countries that won medals in the London Olympics. Our athletes brought home six medals..but no gold medal.!As a result we are in the bottom of the third of the table.Why does a country with so many people do so badly in international competition?

    Everyone comes out with their own reasons for this sad tally.We mainly blame the tropical climate and our genes.Probably , we Indians are not sporty in nature-this may be a reason too,We apparently dislike physical exertion, dont like to compete and so on.For some reason or other we value Cricket..In a country which is mad about cricket nothing else seemingly matters,We honestly dont respect other sports,,,Our youngsters,teachers,media,sponsors and government -all just love the game of cricket more than anything else.Finally.. the most common view-it is our disgusting politics and administration that lets us down.Our sports authorities are obsessed with caste ,ethnic,communal and regional balance in our team than sheer talent.They are also corrupt, so the fund flowing for betterment of sports development goes into their pockets.The highlight of  all these blunders-the basic necessity-the scientific training that should started at a very young age itself is comfortably forgotten.
